Places
The early Parish of Weem boundaries were established following the Reformation in the 1500's. It included large detached areas that are now in adjacent parishes. The later boundaries were established following 1889-92.
The parish boundaries of 1840 (red) incorporated portions of the parish of 1930 (black) in Dull and Logierait parishes.

Weem proper is the most populous portion of the parish stetching along a mile and a half of the northshore of the River Tay from Castle Menzies to Boltachan.
